Website Payments Pro Integration Instructions
Using
PayPal Pro in your shopping cart is now 100% easier than before.
Everything
can be done by entering the settings into the Shopping Cart
Web Administration.
In order
to set up the Shopping Cart to use PayPal Website Payments Pro
for your payment processor you need to follow these steps:
1. You have
to have a PayPal account that has signed up and approved to
use Website Payments Pro.
2. Next
you need to log on to your PayPal account.
3. Go to
the Profile section.
4. Click
either Request API Credentials or View/Remove API Credentials

5. Click
View or Change API Permissions.
6. If you
are requesting new API credentials then choose "API Signature",
check "I Agree" and then click Submit.

7. Copy
the API UserName, API Password and Signature into the Shopping
Cart administration. All 3 values go on the Cart Settings ->
PayPal tab.

8. There
are 2 options to use PayPal Website Payments Pro. One or both
can be setup in your cart.
Option 1: Express
Checkout. This is where a customer can check out with PayPal
directly. This means that they will go to PayPal's site and
get their billing and shipping information and then come back
to your Shopping Cart to finish their order. To enable this
feature, go to the Cart Settings -> PayPal tab and choose
Yes next to the "Use PayPal Express Checkout" radio
button choice and click Save.
Option 2: Merchant
Account. This is where a customer can enter in their billing
information in the Shopping Cart and have PayPal charge their
card without the customer even knowing that it's done through
PayPal. To enable this feature, go to the Enterprise Tab. You
should be on the "Real Time Card Processing" tab by
default. Choose "PayPal Direct Payment" from the list
and then check "Use Real Time Card Processing" and
click Save.
9. Make
sure that you have the right payment fields turned on. You do
this by going to the Cart Settings -> Payment Information
tab. Make sure you have "Show" set to "Yes"
for the following items: Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American
Express, Credit Card, Exp Date and CVV2.
10. Finally,
under the Cart Settings Tab -> Paypal subtab -> PayPal
Classic Settings section, enter your PayPal ID in the "PayPal
ID/Email" field and click save.
That concludes the
PayPal Website Payments Pro setup for the shopping cart. You
are now ready to take orders!
